When
people come to the Homeless
Church for fellowship, a hot meal, and the Word, we have enjoyed
giving many of them the gift of a necklace. In order to
survive, people living on the streets will sell or trade just
about anything they can get. Weve been AMAZED to see
people still wearing their cross months after we've
given it to them. This shows us it is very special to them. They received the Love of
Jesus when they accepted the gift of the cross and they're seeing this impact their lives. Yes, they're still on
the streets, for now; but they keep coming back to church and getting closer and closer to Jesus.
This is our Street-Friend
'Moses'. He's managed to hang on to his cross for six months. We believe he
truly values this reminder of what Jesus has done.
